This week has been by far the most normal. I am getting into the office drone routine. But thats the boring part. Yesterday, I was instructed to crack open a helicopter aerodynamics text book with the end result of determining a constant specific to the UH-60A rotor system. However, this process involves solving a differential equation! Alas it may be a mere separable equation, but it is one none the less! Horray for math!
Enough of my math rants though..... I've tried to take pictures of Ames Research Center, however I don't know if I'm allowed to seeing as its a federal property where some secret stuff goes on. Basically imagine concrete, then imagine the concrete forming the walls of a cube, then imagine windows placed on the outside of this cube, and you have almost every NASA building. The buildings here are very utilitarian and most likely designed to survive a nuclear war. My building even has its own fallout shelter in the basement.
