So I think this week will be fabulous, regardless of the dreadful Bachelor results from last night's finale.
Usually Tuesdays are really...not special. Like at all. But today was absolutely wonderful! I went to BASIS in the morning to pick up a few things and say hi, and that was great. And then I went to put gas in my car, and that was great! And instead of taking speedway to get to where I needed to go, I took River...AND THAT WAS GREAT! Honestly River is a great road to drive on when you are in a good mood.
So instead of working at the Resource Center this week, I am up at the Sunrise/Kolb Gadabout. I had never actually been up there; It's like a whole nother little town. crazy. But anyways, aside from Gadabout Man, The sunrise/kolb location is one of the smallest salons. But don't let its' size fool you; This Gadabout is still full equipped with a Salon, manicure stations, pedicure stations, and a spa section of the building. I am shadowing Amanda, who is the General Manager for the location, and she is completely great. She's training me at the front desk, so I've been checking guests in and offering them beverages and saying "Welcome to Gadabout!" all day. But I love it; I wont lie. They basically treat me as if I were a new employee. I''m still kind of shy with the staff though, because I've only really gotten to know Amanda and this one other intern Andre. He's pretty chill too. So for the rest of the week, I will be a counter girl. The only thing I'm afraid of is the rumored "angry guest." I've heard they exist, but I have yet to see one. Still, if one were to appear, I don't know how I'll take it; I mean it's in my training, but still.

Keep up the good work, Christina, and enjoy the new location. I agree with you about River Rd. I can't say I've ever had a "great" gas buying experience, though. So congratulations on that. Also, you know I'm a fan of the witty titles, but I don't get this one.

Anyway, dear I'm glad you're week is fabulous even with Jake deciding to make most of America angry and pick Vienna. But this is gossip so I'll move on.
1. River is great but avoid it in the afternoons it's much less fun
2. Ahhh I'm so excited that you're moving around to all the different locations
3. I'm glad you have other interns to talk to, as the only intern at my place I can tell you it's much more exciting if others have come before
4. I miss you and am now off to call you =)

Christina, You make me smile about all the greatness around you. I got a report from a friend of mine, who's best friend is the owner of the Gadabouts, raving about the great BASIS Intern. Way to go!
